The project was really complex: it consisted in a whole supervising (electrical, civil, mechanical) during the construction of a solar plant of 66MW in an area not properly “easy” and a little isolated.
In about 1 year, our south African Team has worked really hard in cooperation with other professionals and all together has carried out all the activities foreseen and overcame all the difficulties.
G&G has guaranteed its full expertise providing a constant electrical supervision, also a civil supervision and, last but not least, a continuous support during all the construction phases.
And there’s more: Enel, through her subsidiary Enel Green Power RSA, has also publically communicated that Tomb Burke’s solar plant has been already connected to the grid and thanks to its capability of generating up to 122 GWh per year (an output that is basically equivalent to the annual consumption needs of about 38 thousands South African households), there will be a considerable reduction of the emission of CO2 into the atmosphere each year, evaluated in over 111 thousand tonnes.
And this is the kind contribution we want to give to improve our lives.
